Wow!

As a web journalist, I surf a lot and I see dozens of artistic sites where the artist should have admitted to himself that the Web is not his forte. You wind up with excellent pieces exposed on bad sites. Sort of like showing a Modigliani in a convenience store.

Year 01 solves this problem for multimedia-challenged individuals and lets them show their work on a great site that's worthy of their efforts. Great initiative. Great site. Keep it up.

INTIMA Virtual Base / Creative Intimate Laboratory
SINGLE, structurally equal to ALL and endless in the microstructure is showing the totality and breakness of INTIMA in her mirror image. ONE, split into TWO is compatible with the life of INTIMA. The magic structure of ONE and the obsession with the individuality inspires the ritual beauty of polarity which is shown on the altar of art. The Story about INTIMA is presented by a mathematical microstructure.
The circle is drawn and in the circle there is a whole world.
There is a world of the UNIVERSE and a world of the ATOM, but INTIMA is the zone of their co-existence.

INTIMA Virtual Base / Creative Intimate Laboratory
is a web art project [not documentary] dedicated to the [G]reat [T]eacher and [A]stonaut [GTA] dragan zivadinov. Its purpose is to re/create his virtual and artificial: psych/o/gram, physi/o/gram and art/o/gram.
It is constructed as an interactive web art project where you can co-re/create his virtual life and fiction artwork. The project will be under construction untill the end of his real life. After his death, a cd-rom (or any other digital data carrier available at that time) will be given to him as a present from all the online people to take it with him wherever he goes.
The project consists of 3 phases. a basic skeleton will be built in a first phase [phase A - construction]. There is an option to define [GTA] dragan zivadinov already available inside phase [A], but soon there will be other options available. With all this options we will construct basic data to create [GTA] dragan zivadinov and to transfer to the second phase [phase B - preservation] and the third phase [phase C - destruction].
Visitors are invited to co-operate in the project and to spread a word about it word wide.
A precise description of phase [B] and phase [C] (where we will create interactive psych/o[gram], physi/o[gram] and art/o[gram] with live online performances, diagrams etc.) will be published as soon as possible.

Our basic philosophical substance is the intimate, ascetic and interactive aesthetics. The key words for all its activities are seclusion and ascetics. These imply intimacy, which after all is emphasised in the name of the institution.
INTIMA Ljubljana was found in June 21st 1994 in Ljubljana, Slovenia. Intima is a non-commercial artistic trade mark, occasionaly financialy supported by The Ministry of Culture of Republic of Slovenia, Ljubljana City Community, SOROS and other fundations.
