BIO
ALISTAIR GENTRY is a writer and artist from England whose work includes
the novels Their Heads Are Anonymous (1997; a nominee for the Arthur
C.
Clarke award for imaginative fiction) and Monkey Boys (1999), stage
and
radio plays, stories in printed and electronic form, readings,
performances, installations and audio. His surveillance/shopping
animation Hypnomart—made in collaboration with Joe Magee—
was a finalist
in the 2002 British Animation Awards for best cutting edge film.
Over
the past three years he has been artist in residence at galleries
in
England, Scotland and Wales. His latest work is Werewolves, an
experimental psycho-acoustic artwork in England’s New Forest.
