BIO
MARINA ZURKOW is a polymedia artist whose work is focused on character
development and narrative. Her projects take a variety of forms:
animated cartoons, 2D graphics, and physical objects. Her animation
and interactive works have been featured at Sundance, the Rotterdam
Film Festival, Ars Electronica, the Brooklyn Museum, and SF MOMA;
projects aired on MTV and PBS; and have appeared in numerous publications
and books. She is currently developing a wireless project entitled
PDPal with Scott Paterson and Julian Bleecker; they are artists-in-residence
at Eyebeam Atelier in New York. Zurkow’s work is distributed
primarily through her studio, O-Matic, in New York City. You can
