Sharing" Click here to launch the site in a new

Statement:
In our view, life_sharing both
asserts and transcends objectness and formality; it represents a
synthesis of the form and object into what might be called
form-object art. Resolving at one stroke the problem of content
without compromising the purity of the nonreferential object as
such, life_sharing, by exactly representing the data of our personal
computer, nevertheless introduces new content and a new concept, in
the total phenomenological sense, by actually representing the
actions of someone other than the Net Artists plagiarized. That is,
in their real meaning, life_sharing is Net Art plus, Net Art and
more, and the implications to be extracted from them will occupy, we
hope, the artistic and critical community for years to
come.
In their double orientation between past and present,
life_sharing represents an advance in another respect; in no other
form but pure data can the thing be so sharply distinguished from
its self, the an sich, or essence, from the fur sich, or reality.
What is at work here is lived experience relived, or more
accurately, the coded object
recoded.
Bio:
0100101110110101.org
is a name chosen by 0100101110110101.org to refer to Net.art
projects of multiple origins. The name is fixed, the type of
projects using it aren't. The purpose of many different Net.art
projects using the same name is to experiment with a situation for
which no one in particular is responsible.
